Is that a Cambridge Kerb on New Bond Street? (Ed: no) But those aren't cycle lanes on either side so maybe they're for pedestrians to share with parked cars.
There's a problem here - everyone thinks it's ok to cross against the red light, only to be mown down by southbound cyclists on the new segregated cycleway, which has a green light now.
