88080Photo #88080Amazingly, this was the first time I've actually used a Santander bike - with only three gears it wasn't fast enough for me to mix with the traffic in my usual way, but it handled well enough, and I was able to cram my pannier into the front carrier.Bicycle:

87204Photo #87204Boris bikes (or Sadiq bikes?) seen at Dorset Square, London

Location: Lisson Grove, London (England, United Kingdom)

Boris bikes (or Sadiq bikes?) seen at Dorset Square, London.

Heading out of London Marylebone Station, early on a Saturday morning, dragging my suitcase towards Baker Street Underground Station.

Near Dorset Square saw these hire bikes.

Now that Boris Johnson is no longer Mayor of London, perhaps they are now Sadiq bikes (after Sadiq Khan).

When I returned here on Monday afternoon, all the bikes were gone!

84951Photo #84951Very little provision within Soho - particularly publicly accessible space for those whose employers don't offer private secure parking. Westminster City Council seems to be relying on providers such as H2 to create 'public' spaces, but their monthly fee of at least £50 for membership isn't feasible for many workers. Great Chapel Street is currently dug up for Crossrail works - post-completion of these works there is an ideal opportunity to re-landscape and add large numbers of cycle stands/hangers.Cycle parking:
