[Image taken 8.2.23] Lendal Bridge/Museum Street (looking eastwards/towards the Minster), York. The spacing of the new cycle symbols. Note the narrowness of the carriageway and the position of these comparatively small vehicles on it. There is no room to overtake a cyclist when there is oncoming traffic. Or for oncoming drivers to try to pass a cyclist on their side when there is someone cycling on this one. But they do. Context and links: #190884.
