[UPDATE: An email from CYC dated 27.2.23 confirmed they won't take action: "The current status of your report is: closed. We're sorry, City of York Council isn't responsible for resolving this problem. While we endeavour to respond to reports of this nature, we cannot investigate or take action to rectify problems that occur on land, or relate to equipment, that doesn't belong to us."] [UPDATE: I've forwarded this to the local councillor asking if he can locate the land owner and ask them to repair it. I also sent him the links to: #191134 and #191136 as supporting evidence of need - though none should be needed.]

[Image taken 25.1.23] Pizza Time, Burton Stone Lane junction with Garth Terrace, York. Forecourt damage. A hazard to all users. Not least as motor vehicles wait on the pavement - completely obstructing it - rather than on the forecourt. People who should be able to use the pavement can't and have to walk onto the forecourt and run the real risk of tripping and falling. I'll report it to CYC. I think the forecourts here belong to the building owners not the Council. However, I hope CYC can contact the owners and compel them to repair it.
