Coming up from the cycle highway along the Thames, this road is really dangerous. The bike lane is shared with buses, but quite often the buses are blocking it as they sit waiting. There's often cars who use it as a second lane as well, even though they aren't supposed to. So cyclists have to weave between the buses and cars/trucks (very dangerous) or go up on to the sidewalk (dangerous for pedestrians) in order get from Embankment to Trafalgar Square. There should be a dedicated bike line that goes around the bus lane. It's also really dangerous to get around trafalgar square as a cyclist. I get cut off 9/10 times even if I'm clearly visible and hand-signaling.
