Gallery: Gilbert Road ACL

Redmac advisory cycle lanes on Gilbert Road finished in February 2011.
Critique:
- no speed reduction measures
- no crossing, lights or speed table at Gurney Way
- surface is smooth but feels somewhat slippery when wet
- motorists frequently abuse the ACL and ASL at the Milton Road end.
Nevertheless, the wider, redmac ACLs are a great improvement over the narrow ACL with parking cars.
