During LCC's #theBigRide stewards were equipped with these STOP signs to make sure pedestrians could cross safely. They were necessary because some of the traffic lights were to be disregarded during the road closures of the event.

The Olympic authorities (or maybe Royal Parks) have got the right idea for temporary road closures. No through motor traffic here for a month, but the pavement has been converted to a cycleway.

Two unicyclists give a highly entertaining show at Covent Garden. This is only a flavour of it, and of course you have to be there. We gave a good contribution at the end, so I don't think they'll mind us featuring this short clip.

CycleStreets developers in London town for another business meeting.

Another good thing about the Boris Bike scheme is that you now often see the sight of people in their suit and tie on a bike - in this case one of the cyclestreets developers passing through Chinatown.
