Strongly marked CS8 past a bus stop.

Confusing markings - the arrow is for motor traffic, not CS8, which goes straight ahead - but NCN route 4 does turn left here.

On- and off-road routes in both directions.

CS8 turns left here across Chelsea Bridge, while NCN route 4 continues ahead.

Cycling is permitted on the short closure between the two halves of Bond Street.

Experimental cycle route by Buckingham Palace. I don't know how you're meant to get onto it northbound.

Cycle Superhighway 53, along Constitution Hill. It's fairly obvious where the cyclists are meant to go, but there are still plenty of cyclists on the road, and pedestrians on the cycleway.

Somerset House - so popular now, so little cycle parking.

The new Pashley bikes for TfL's bike-sharing scheme all have Blaze Laserlights - I find it a bit disconcerting to be on the road with all these green lights bouncing around, but I suppose I'll get used to it.

Cycle parking present here.
